What is it with Cuban Cigars?

Yet, with all due respect, Cuban cigars rank high in every cigar enthusiast's indulgences.

Cuba, like all Caribbean islands, bore the most ideal dirt, possibly in the entire world. No other climate can divest such nutrients into the soil than the micro climate of the Caribbean. If you aren't convinced, try taking a nature walk down the paths of any islands found in the Caribbean. You'll find the Cuban tobacco planter's key is a rich dark soil. Laying closest to the Tropic of Cancer, Cuba is blessed with a relative humidity of 79 %, and a cool year round temperature of 25 degrees Celsius with seasonal rainfall. Extraordinary weather features of lands like this could never be better anywhere else.

Then came the Spaniards during the time of the Conquistadores. Competing for control amongst the variety of Caribbean islands with the old world powers at that time, Spain had controlled several islands, however, they had firm hold of Havana. Then came migrating farmers who began producing luxury items like sugar, tobacco, and cotton for use by the people of Spain. Nothing has changed since then.

All in all, Cuba had the experience of several centuries of tobacco planting. No other culture has prospered in tobacco cultivation more than the people of Cuba. That's why, even with the United States Embargo, and the sprouting up of a number of competing tobacco plantations around the islands of the Caribbean, Honduras, and the Dominican Republic, and other parts of the world, cigar aficionados can still point a finger to Cuba as having the very best cigar experience of them all.

However, possibly the only thing that prevents this luxury, the Cuban cigar, from reaching the masses, is it's also born in Cuba, where Fidel Castro hails from. Such a shame, really, that prices should increase as a consequence of the embargo, and the nationalization of numerous Cuban cigar businesses.

Though considered pricey, Cuban cigars still rank the very best, and quality and workmanship-wise, hardly anything comes close. So enjoy your Cuban cigar, because it is among the most long-lasting cigars in the entire world.Habanos Cigars\nSan Diego Cigars
